Traveling abroad for a relaxing vacay is an exciting thought always, but it’s as much a pain once you come to think of the effort that goes into figuring out the hotel, visa requirements, and flight bookings.

If you are an international traveler, you know how annoying it can get when dealing with multiple service providers or travel agents for getting a visa done, buying foreign currency or a calling card and figuring out the right travel insurance.

The reality is, despite several portals out there like MakeMyTrip, Booking.com and Yatra, pre and post-trip planning in India is still fragmented and unorganized.

It is this void that a startup called YuMiGo is trying to fill in. This newbie is trying to solve all the travel formality hassles by delivering everything that you may need during your international trip, right at your doorstep.

It is currently offering currency for over 100 countries all across the globe, over 50 voice plus data bundles to suit every traveler’s requirements, travel insurance plans from multiple service providers and visas for all major countries. In short, you don’t need to be running around to put things together. You just need to book your tickets and pack your bags, and simply leave the rest on YuMiGo. Its offerings are what make it an online travel agent of sorts, and a much cheaper one.

YuMiGo recently announced that it has raised $300,000 in its first round of funding, and also launched its travel website which can be your one stop for all travel needs.

The company now plans to launch services in travel inspiration and in-destination engagement in the future to make traveling to foreign countries much simpler and hassle-free.
