Punit Sood is the new head of technology for RBS global hub in India

Punit Sood has been appointed as the Head of Technology for RBS’ Global Hub in India, as the bank now plans to focus on boosting the expertise it has in technology.

Sood, who has previously worked at JP Morgan Chase was responsible for strategy and delivery within the JPMC Global Service Centre there. Other than this, he was also associated with Citibank, Mphasis and GE Capital Services.

"From our mobile app, used by over four million customers to the technology that our people use every day when helping our customers, technology is key to our success. Punit joins us with a strong leadership background, a creative mind and a determination to make a difference," said Patrick Eltridge, RBS CIO.
