Ivy League admissions decisions for the Class of 2019 drop at 5 p.m. today, and thousands of students will soon learn whether they'll attend one of the elite universities in the fall.

While tens of thousands of potential students apply to each Ivy League university every year, only a handful get accepted. Harvard University has the lowest admissions rate of all the Ivies, only taking 5.9% of students last year for its current freshman class.

Here's how many students got accepted to each Ivy League school last year:

  1. Harvard University - 5.9%
  2. Yale University - 6.26%
  3. Columbia University - 6.94%
  4. Princeton University - 7.28%
  5. Brown University - 9.2%
  6. University of Pennsylvania - 9.9%
  7. Dartmouth College - 11.5%
  8. Cornell University - 14%

However, Stanford University - which is not in the Ivy League - remains the most selective university in America, with a 5.05% admissions rate for the Class of 2019.
