US intelligence officials told President-elect Donald Trump last week that Russian operatives claimed to have compromising personal and financial information on him, according to CNN.

The allegations, put forward by a former British intelligence operative, were part of a two-page synopsis that was appended to the US intelligence agency's report on "Russian interference in the 2016 election" released last week, CNN reported.
