Congress scion As Union Minister Rajnath Singh gave his speech in the Lok Sabha session, one could see Gandhi dozing off in the back. Even though the members of parliaments were shouting and raising their objections, the 46-year old was unperturbed.
The images, after they were shown on news channels, have gone viral on social media, completely sidelining Congress President
"In the last few months, we have witnessed how the Modi Government's project of destabilising institutions and polarising our society has played out with renewed vigour to the detriment of constitutional values.
"The Modi Government has mistaken its parliamentary majority for a licence to impose its ideology on our people. It seems to have forgotten that parliamentary majority can never be the reason to abandon the principles and practice of constitutionalism," she had said.
