Ranveer Singh’s dream comes true, to be directed by Aditya Chopra in Befikre

Ranveer Singh is one of the most versatile actors that we have today. His roles in all the movies that he has done in the past 5 years, as well as his determination to give everything to his role, be it the looks or the accents, have convinced fans and critics alike about his caliber as an actor.

Also, the fact that he had no prior connection in the film industry, and was chosen out of thousands of other youngsters to play the main lead in a Yash Raj movie shows that the big daddies of Bollywood placed their bets on this guy. That certainly was dream come true for Singh, who always wanted to be a mainstream Bollywood actor and knew that nothing but a remarkable debut via a reputed production house would make him be that.

However, 5 years and several awards later, there still was one dream that Singh nurtured, which was to be directed by his mentor Aditya Chopra, but we have come to know that even that dream is now going to be realized.

Aditya Chopra, who is making a comeback in direction after 7 years, his last project being Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, has decided to cast Ranveer Singh as his next main lead. Called Befikre, this project is going to be different from whatever Chopra has made till now, as revealed in his Facebook post a few days back.

The news of Singh being cast as the main lead of Befikre was given to the world by Ranveer Singh himself. He made a heart-warming video about this, in the premises of Yash Raj Studios, and told how this was his second dream to be fulfilled in a similar manner.
