After assuring employees of the Ratan Tata will be taking charge of Tata Sons once again and will also be a part of the committee looking for a replacement for Cyrus Mistry.
Big names including Indra Nooyi, N Chandrashekaran and Noel Tata are already floating to head the group. Mistry’s stint was the shortest so far and it was cut short after serving for four years as chairman of the conglomerate and the exit is likely to end in a huge legal slugfest.
