Ratnamani Metals & Tubes posted smart gains in a firm market on Thursday after the company announced a major order win.

Ratnamani said it won an order worth 528 crore rupees from Larsen & Toubro Ltd, giving no other details.

Meanwhile, Ratnamani surged 20.85 rupees, or 3.5 percent, to 610.50 rupees on the National Stock Exchange where 84,000 shares were traded compared with a 5-day average of 4,000 shares.

Ratnamani has seen its market value rise 44 percent to 2,800 crore rupees in the past one year. The stock trades at 3 times its book value of 205 rupees.
