Reliance to roll out its Jio 4G services from August 15 Mukesh Ambani-owned telco Reliance Jio Infocomm is going to release its 4G services from August 15, and it might dispatch free voice service alongside information services, a media publication reported, referring to a note by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

" When Jio commercially launches its telco services (expected on August 15) we expect the company to offer a differentiated offering," Bank of America Merrill Lynch said that it anticipates that Jio will offer a separate offering, which will be unlimited VoLTE voice packaged with its information offering above Rs 300 per month.

It further said that VoLTE will affect voice revenues for the next 12-18 months.

Reliance Jio had launched its services for its employees in December, a year ago. It opened up its system with preview data offer in May this year.

Jio has however extended its preview offer to choose Samsung 4G cell phones and HP portable PC clients.
