Rihanna and Drake have been taking their rumored relationship into the public eye.

First, Drake professed his love for the singer at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. Though the 28-year-old singer gave him the cheek after his speech, the pair kissed once the cameras had panned away at the award show and once again at a recent concert in Miami.

And now, it appears as though Rihanna is confirming her relationship with the 29-year-old Canadian rapper with a new tattoo - and fans are losing it.

On Thursday, Rihanna got a camouflage shark tattooed on her ankle at the celebrity favorite Bang Bang parlor in New York City, spotted by Glamour. Bang Bang shared a picture of the shark with its followers on Instagram.

You may be thinking 'what does a camouflage shark have to do with Drake?' Well, it turns out that according to the Rihanna fan account Rihannadiva, "Drake gave Rihanna a shark at the 'Ripley's Aquarium.'" TMZ reports that sources confirmed the tattoo is about the Toronto aquarium date and that Drake got some ink at Bang Bang as well.

The superstars have reportedly dated in the past. In 2009, Rihanna and Drake began dating regularly, but had broken up by 2010 when Drake told The New York Times that he felt like "a pawn" during their courtship.

"I was a pawn," Drake told The Times. "She was doing exactly what I've done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, wow, this feels terrible."

Drake later told MTV News his quote was "in no way [...] negative," adding that she's "such an overwhelming and incredible person," but that Rihanna "made me feel small. She made me feel nervous."

But really, at least according to Drake, their current reconciliation has been something he wanted for a very long time.

"She's someone I've been in love with since I was 22 years old," Drake said at the VMAs. "She's one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I've looked up to her even though she's younger than me."
