Shots were fired at a university clinic in Berlin
BERLIN (Reuters) - A patient shot at a doctor in a university clinic in Steglitz, a southwestern district of Berlin, on Tuesday before shooting himself, German police confirmed after Bild newspaper earlier reported the incident.
Police said the doctor was badly hurt.
There was no sign of a terror threat in the hospital attack, police told AFP.
A spokeswoman for the Benjamin Franklin campus of the Charite university hospital had no immediate comment.
The incident follows four other attacks in Germany since July 18 that left 10 people dead and dozens injured.
