Snapdeal has acquired ‘TargetingMantra’, a machine learning solutions firm that’s targeted at personalizing e-shopping experience.
Speaking about this acquisition, Rohit Bansal, Co-Founder, Snapdeal said, “The Targeting Mantra team comes with valuable experience in driving superior customer experience through machine learning.”

TargetingMantra was founded by Saurabh Nangia and Rahul Singh in March 2013, and has offices in Palo Alto and Gurgaon. The company offers a platform to manage customer life-cycle through personalization, targeting and big data analytics. It deals in intuitive product discovery, recommendations and channel selection.

Commenting on the acquisition, Saurabh Nangia, Co- Founder, TargetingMantra said, “We are very excited to become a part of the Snapdeal family. Given Snapdeal’s customer centric approach to technology, TargetingMantra can add immense value to shaping shopping experiences on the platform.”

At Snapdeal, TargetingMantra’s team will help with on-going efforts to drive the ‘customer experience engine’ to help personalize shopping experiences.
