Snoop Dogg has threatened to break off his longstanding partnership with Adidas.

In a recent Instagram post, the rapper called out Adidas, writing, "... give me a holla about under armour. Adidas keep playing games with me and my football league time to make a boss move. Free agent style. Hit me up family."

The post has since been removed, USA Today's For The Win reports.

Snoop Dogg was named Adidas' director of football development earlier this year, and last month he was also put in charge of the company's football recruitment.

But it appears the relationship has turned sour since then.

Snoop Dogg, who started his own youth football league in 2005, has been working with Adidas for years. He released his first line of custom sneakers for the company in 2011.

Under Armour has also dealt with a sneaker defector recently.

Tennis star Andy Murray is under a four-year sponsorship deal Under Armour, but at the US Open last month, he wore Adidas shoes.
