Something is fishy as Volkswagen directs dealers not to sell Polo in India

Volkswagen India has directed its dealers not to sell popular hatchback, Polo, in India with immediate effect.
A letter, which was signed by two senior Volkswagen officials, was sent to all dealers by the carmaker stating :"We request, not to physically deliver any Polo vehicle (all variants) with immediate effect till further notice from VW.”
Meanwhile, spokesperson of Volkswagen AG's India told Reuters that a unit was investigating the Polo hatchback cars over technical issues.
However, the spokesman denied the investigation was in connection with diesel emissions scandal.
