TRUMP: 'I use the word rape and all of a sudden everyone goes crazy'

Trump has been embroiled in controversy since his June 16 presidential campaign launch, when he blasted Mexico for sending "rapists" to the US.
In a Fox News interview that aired Sunday, Trump declined repeated offers to walk back his remarks or shift his tone.
"I use the word rape and all of a sudden everyone goes crazy," he said. "I can never apologize for the truth. I don't mind apologizing for things but I can't apologize for the truth."
In order to prove his point, the Republican businessman pointed to a Fusion article that he also cited in an interview last week with CNN's Don Lemon.
"Excuse me, I read an article yesterday from Fusion, which is owned by Univision, as I'm told. And it talked about many of the women that cross the border are being raped," said Trump, who has feuded with Univision. "This is done by Fusion. It was printed in The Huffington Post, no friend of mine."
Fusion reported that 80% of Central American women are raped while crossing Mexico to the US, according to directors of migrant shelters. Trump's argument - that many Mexican rapists are coming into the US - has a different focus.
Trump's comments about Mexico during his campaign kickoff created tremendous backlash for him, and several companies ended their business relationships with him as a result. But Trump insists all he's doing is speaking the truth about criminals coming across the border.
"I said tremendous crime is coming across. Everybody knows that's true. And it's happening all the time," Trump said on Fox. "I mention crime and all of a sudden I'm a racist? I'm not a racist. I don't have a racist bone in my body."
