Teens are using the new 'old person lens' on Snapchat to prank their parents

Snapchat came out with a new update Tuesday that lets you add "lenses" to your photos - there's a "Terminator" lens and a rainbow river lens (people seemed really taken with that one).

There's also an old person lens that lets you age your face about sixty years. That's the one teens seem to be having the most fun with, thanks to their clueless parents.

I was first alerted to this by my sister (a teen), who told me a ton of her friends were using that lens to take photos of themselves, save them to their camera rolls, and then send them to their unsuspecting mothers.

Overall, this seems to be good news for Snapchat, whose last massive update in April 2014 didn't go over well with the majority of its young users.

Snapchat also rolled out a pay-to-save option on Tuesday that lets you pay a dollar to look at people's old Snaps.
