India Rankings 2017 for the Indian educational institutions are out and this will make your task of selecting a prestigious university easier.
The Indian Government released the India Rankings 2017 and assessed the educational institutions on a number of factors, including number of research papers submitted, patents obtained, campus placement figures, etc.
The ranking has been charted out by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), which works with the education ministry.
This is the second edition of India Rankings and a total of 2995 institutions have participated this time. This included 1024 Engineering Institutions, 546 Management Institutions, 318 Pharmacy Institutions and 637 General Degree Colleges, etc. Many of these have participated in multiple disciplines, adding to a total of 3319 participants across disciplines.
The rankings were also done for Indian universities in which 232 universities participated.
