The 10 most popular iPhone apps of all time

There are millions of apps in Apple's App Store, but most of them never get popular, or they fizzle after topping the charts for a brief time.

Then there are the select few that completely crush it and dominate the charts for years. They are the juggernauts of the App Store that every other app hopes to steal the spotlight from.

The research firm App Annie calculated the most popular apps in Apple's App Store dating back to 2010. Big companies like Apple and Google lead the pack.

But the real winner is Facebook with four of the top 10 apps, including the number one and two spots.
