Budweiser is still king of beers.

The Brewers Association recently released its annual list of the top 50 US breweries in 2014 based on production volume.

Anheuser-Busch, maker of Budweiser, came out on top again this year, followed by Miller Coors, Pabst, and Yuengling.

Some of the breweries have amped up production from 2013: Michigan-based Bell's Brewery moved up from No. 13 to No. 12 this year, while Stone Brewing Co., known for its IPAs, leapt from No. 17 to No. 14.

Uinta Brewing Co. from Salt Lake City, while absent in 2013, was No. 46 this year. Uinta received funding from private equity firm Riverside Co. in the fall of 2014 to help distribute its beer beyond the borders of Utah, where 60% of the population doesn't drink.

Portland, Maine's Allagash Brewing Co. (50) and San Francisco's 21st Amendment Brewery (49) are also new to the list.
