The truth behind Oracle CEO Mark Hurd's Starbucks addiction
AP/Starbucks/Business Insider
The man is so addicted to Starbucks, we were told, that he's constantly stopping his limo when he sees a Starbucks and asking his assistant to run out and buy him coffee.
So we asked Hurd about it during a Twitter AMA he held on Tuesday.
First of all, part of the story was confirmed right away by Jake Kaldenbaugh, vice president, corporate development at CA Technologies, who saw our tweet.
He has personally spotted Hurd in line at a Redwood City, California, Starbucks. (Oracle's headquarters is located in Redwood City.)
@Julie188 @MarkVHurd True. I was behind him at RWC starbucks. Bought coffee like a boss.

But, alas, he doesn't have a limo.
.@Julie188 No limos. I drive my own car and I order my own starbucks. Grande non fat latte. And @starbucks is a customer.
