The world’s most powerful and exclusive SUV Bentley Bentayga will get even beefier

Bentley Motors is all set to launch its first ever SUV, the Bentayga, in several markets. At the Beijing Motor Show, the company CEO Wolfgang Durheimer has hinted that the British manufacturer may produce a higher output version.

He said, "At the moment they want Bentayga – it's due to launch here in July. But if you're asking whether there would be Speed versions of the Bentayga eventually, then yes, you might expect that”.

Currently , Bentley only sells the Continental GT and Mulsanne in Speed versions. The Bentayga Speed is expected to have substantially more power, with over 600 BHP under tap. The Speed versions of Continental GT and Mulsanne boast of additional 51 and 25 BHP.

The regular Bentayga that was launched in India last week is priced at Rs. 3.85 Crores. It’s powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 TSI engine that churns out 600 BHP and a whopping 900Nm of torque.

Mind, the Bentayga is already the fastest and the most powerful and exclusive SUV in the world. The company has received over 100 bookings in India alone. The Bentayga Speed would beat the current model’s 4.1 secs for 100 kmph by a significant mark.
