There's a life-sized replication of Noah's Ark being built in the middle of Kentucky
If Sunday school isn't exciting enough, take a trip to Kentucky. Ken Ham, who runs the Creation Museum, just finished building his magnum opus: Noah's Ark.
For the past six years, he's been planning and building a 510-foot-long, $102 million replica of the Ark from the bible. It'll have lifelike models of dinosaurs, animals that still exist, and Noah and his family. It's opening to the public on July 7 in Williamstown, Kentucky.
Ham is a young Earth creationist who believes the Christian Bible is literal and universe is around 6,000 years old. "Ark Encounter," like the Creation Museum, is a landmark that's meant to advance that belief.
Anyway, it's pretty nuts. Here are some pictures.
