This Case Promises To Protect Your iPhone 6 From BendGate

By now you've probably heard about the iPhone 6's bending problem, now called BendGate or Bendghazi.
Whether you think BendGate is actually an issue, you're probably wise to slap a case on that iPhone 6 and save yourself the worrying. Not least of which because it's slippery.
One case maker, Miami-based Gresso, claims to have made a case "that will protect the iPhone 6 from bending."
Gresso
Gresso's case is made of aluminum - just like the iPhone 6 - but the company claims it will withstand 300 pounds of force before bending.
Consumer Reports determined over the weekend that the iPhone 6 can withstand up to 70 pounds of force before bending.
Gresso's case will run you $90. It appears the case is only available for the iPhone 6 currently, not the 6 Plus. That's interesting, because people have mostly claimed that the iPhone 6 Plus is the one that has the bending problem.
It's a sleek-looking bumper case, albeit a little pricey. The only downside is the unsightly hinge at the top of the phone.
Maybe that's the price of peace of mind.
