When it was launched, Android came across as a third world citizen to the iOS. However, as time passed by Google turned the tacky old system into a powerhouse. And today every major smart phone manufacturer is running after the OS to install and give it to the end customer.
Yahoo Aviate did a study recently on how Android users around the world interact with their mobile phones. The results are quite exhilarating. On an average there are 95 apps installed on any Android driven mobile phone. People like to use the clock and calendar apps in the morning, while at night people switch over to Netflix and Facebook apps. No points for guessing here, phone and SMS are used mostly during work hours.
