This bike worth Rs 7.78 lakh is classic and modern Triumph launched its second most affordable bike, Bonneville T100, in India and is priced at Rs 7.78 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike was first revealed by the manufacturer at the INTERMOT motorcycle show in Germany.

Considering the design, the bike is quite similar to the Triumph Thruxton R and also keeps the class of the original 1950 Bonneville alive. Keeping the modern requirements in mind, the bike has been engineered in ways that live upto the modern-classic tag. The bike comes with modern features like analogue speedometer and an analogue tachometer, alongside a number of other indicators that can be seen on the multi functional instrument cluster.

The engine is similar to the more affordable version of the brand- Street Twin. It has 900cc engine that has parallel twin motor and will be producing 55PS at 5,900rpm and of peak torque is made available at just 3,230rpm. It also has a 5-speed gearbox which seems like a drawback.

The bike will also be equipped with modern requirements like ABS as standard along with other goodies such as electronic ride-by-wire with different riding modes, traction control, torque-assist clutch etc.. the bike will also sport daytime running lamps, LED rear lamp and an under seat USB charging slot.
