Workplace diversity, or more accurately "lack thereof," has recently been pushed to the forefront of discussions in the tech industry.

The #ILookLikeAnEngineer campaign on Twitter aimed to show that those working in programming or software engineering don't have to look like (or be) your standard white man.

But new diversity reports at companies like Google and Apple show that women still have a long way to go in terms of representation. One woman who went from working in tech to Harvard Business School said that even the old boys club of Harvard was "lightyears" ahead of tech when it came to inclusion of women.

But not all places in tech are the same. As the industry has exploded, startups have begun to sprout up in places from Seattle to Moscow to Tel Aviv. And now Leon Markovitz at Dadaviz has put together a chart that shows not only which of the tech's top cities have the highest percentage of female tech employees, but also female founders.
