This fast food chain is trying to change public perception of Chinese food
Wok to Walk Facebook
With only 50 locations, this Asian fast food chain has a global presence. This franchise has locations throughout Europe, North and South America, Asia and even Africa.
So how is this little chain creating so much hype?
It advertises what people want to hear: that the food is fresh and healthy.
It's difficult to find fast, healthy Asian cuisine. Panda Express is even struggling to stay relevant in the age of Chipotle.
While the chain isn't big enough to be ranked, Trip Advisor gave the restaurant a certificate of excellence.
But Wok to Walk goes about its marketing in a unique way. The chain keeps it simple by offering a 3-step-menu that is friendly to vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers.
Having options is key.
Wok to Walk encourages you to be your own chef by designing your own wok. The company even claims that you can eat Wok to Walk every day for a year and never repeat a combo.
The chain claims to buy its products from local suppliers, never using MSGs.
Skeptical about the nutrition of this fast food chain? While the food is prepared right in front of you, its website also offers a nutrition calculator - sharing calorie, protein and carbohydrate content - so you can create the most suitable wok for your diet.
Despite its small US presence, the chain is enjoyed around the world. Maybe one day expanding outside of New York.
