We all hate the game, but you can’t escape it; either we play or get played. Yes, this is office politics we are talking about.

Despite how much you love your job, your co-workers can make your workplace into a nightmare and this can hamper your work. Politics at work also hampers productivity and the job you were enjoying a month back, can become a mundane, painful task for you.

Your co-workers can take your ‘easy going attitude’ for granted and that’s when the downfall begins. Office politics can involve your co-workers taking away your credit, stealing your thunder in front of the boss, stealing your ideas, agreeing to whatever your boss is saying (even when he/she is wrong), etc.
