After his sudden dismissal as Chairman of the Tata Sons , Cyrus Mistry wrote an e-mail to the Tata Board , saying the move by the group has harmed his image.
In the 5-page letter to the Board, Mistry said he was not given a free hand as the Chairman and emotional decisions were taken rather than being rational.
Mistry said he inherited a debt-laden Group and claimed despite all the challenges such as AirAsia, DoCoMo, JLR, etc, he took tough decisions and took group’s reputation also in consideration.
