The TV has been brought to India for the peace of mind of the Indian consumers, who up until now had televisions for entertainment purposes. However, with the LG Mosquito Away Television, they would get to experience great viewing and keeping surroundings mosquito free.
The innovative TV is equipped with an Ultra Sonic device which once activated, uses the sound wave technology and makes mosquitoes fly away without emitting any harmful radiations. The technology used complies with the norms of global organizations, and has got approval from International Institute of Biotechnology and Toxicology (IIBAT), India.
Without using any chemicals that other toxic repellents use, it does not even require refilling or any other maintenance; the most important part being the independent operation so that you can fly away the mosquitoes without even switching off the TV.
“LG is constantly introducing products based on Indian Insights, making them more meaningful for the Indian consumers. The new Mosquito Away technology in television is an extension of this philosophy, transiting beyond viewing experience and truly building a healthy environment at home. We at LG want to deliver innovation at its best for our customers and we hope that this product will be beneficial for them,” said Mr. Howard Lee, Director – Home Entertainment, LG Electronics.
