UPSC CSE Prelims 2019: Last day to apply is on Monday, Important Notification for EWS candidates

Union Public Service Commission has released the notification for UPSC Civil Services Examination 2019. All the interested candidates can check the notification on the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

According to the government notification for CSE 2019, the 10% quota for the Economically Backward classes will be implemented this year in all the central government jobs. So all the candidates who fall under EWS quota are required to get the EWS certificate no later than 1 August 2019. The certificate will be attached along with other documents for the IAS mains exam 2019.

The application process began from 19 Februrary 2019 and the last date to fill the applicable is on 18 March 2019. You can apply for the examination through upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.

The UPSC CS Prelims for Civil Services and Indian Forest Services will be held on 2 June 2019. The preliminary examination for both Civil Services and Indian Forest Services is scheduled together. However, the mains examination for both has beenscheduled on different dates. The Civil Services Main Examinations for 2019 will be conducted from 20 September 2019. IFS Mains 2019 will commence from December 1, 2019.
