What it's really like to be a NASA astronaut

Kjell Lindgren always wanted to be an astronaut.

"It was a childhood dream that I never gave up on," he tells Business Insider.

Today, he is one of NASA's 47 active astronauts. And in December, he returned from spending six months in outer space.
