She was on a Singaporean budget flight flying to Yangon when she suddenly started experiencing labour cramps. The plane was commencing its landing and the plan was to move the pregnant woman to the hospital.

However, the baby decided he just could not delay his own arrival any longer. With the help of the crew and three doctors who were also on the flight last Friday, the baby was delivered safely onboard 3K583.

According to a Jet Star spokesperson, other passengers cheered when the boy, who weighed six pounds, seven ounces, was born. The mother was so relieved and delighted with the care she was given, that she promptly named her son after the airline – Baby Saw Jet Star.
