The Indian smartphone maker Xolo has launched a camera centric smartphone in the form of Xolo Q1010i.

Priced at Rs. 13,499, the Xolo Q1010i comes with an 8MP rear camera that has Exmor R, 5P Lens, f/2.0 aperture and 1.4 um pixel size.

As per the company claims, the wider f/2.0 aperture in Xolo Q1010i allows 40% more light to come in, thus improving the light reception that results in crisp and improved images in low-light conditions as well. Furthermore, the smartphone comes with 5P lens as opposed to 4P lens, which is available in most smartphone cameras.

Other specifications of Xolo Q1010i include a 5” HD IPS screen and an Asahi Scratch Resistant Glass. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 Ghz Quad-Core Processor, with 1GB of RAM. Out of the box, Xolo Q1010i runs on Android 4.2 (jelly Bean) but the company is planning to roll out Android 4.4 (KitKat) for it pretty soon.
