Zion Williamson got a nice surprise when he arrived at his hotel room in New Orleans to welcome him to his new home.

Williamson, who was drafted No. 1 by the New Orleans Pelicans at this year's NBA Draft, received his first jersey from a professional athlete from none other than New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees.

"To Zion - Passing the torch to you! Who dat!" Brees wrote on the jersey with his signature.

Brees also sent the 19-year-old former Duke star a card that said, "Zion, welcome to the family. Let's dance."

Williamson first used the phrase "let's dance" after being drafted by the Pelicans, but it's quickly becoming a slogan for him as he begins his career in the Big Easy.

"I'm telling you, man. I'm gonna make that like, a logo," Williamson said in the video.

Williamson's career is only just beginning, while Brees' is coming to a close in the near future, but it will take time for Williamson to build as storied a career as the beloved quarterback.

With Anthony Davis now with the Los Angeles Lakers, Williamson is set to become the face of the Pelicans, and perhaps all of New Orleans when Brees eventually retires if things go as many hope.

"Wow. Passing the torch. Am I ready to take that on? The city of New Orleans," Williamson said.

"I'm ready. Let's do it."
