ATM cash withdrawal limit to be removed from March 13 for savings bank accounts

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said the ATM withdrawal limit will be changed in two stages for savings bank accounts holders.
TheATM cash withdrawal limit will be raised to Rs 50,000 per week from February 20 and the cash withdrawal cap will be removed from March 13 for saving bank accounts.
Earlier, the RBI raised ATM withdrawal limit from Rs 4,500 to Rs 10,000 per day and Rs 1 lakh per week for current account holders.
Post demonetisation, the RBI had fixed withdrawal limit to Rs 2000 and later raised it to Rs 4,500.
