Unlike other personal transporters, Walkcar allows riders to control the vehicle by shifting body weight, and the operation is monitored by four sensors that can alter its direction. The sensors make it completely hands-free and are also responsible for accelerating or decelerating the vehicle.
The company has commenced the world-wide sales of Walkcar. According to the company website, the walkcar costs around ₹1,72,581 (¥245,800). However, this doesn’t include customs duty, and that depends on the nation of delivery. This portable car can be purchased on the Cocoa Motors website.
