While speculations are rife about the Modi cabinet going in for a possible reshuffle soon after the presidential poll, PM Modi has reportedly asked his ministers to prepare a presentation in the form of a report card highlighting their achievements.

The ministers have been given a month’s time to prepare the presentations, which involves comparison of their achievements department during the three years of NDA rule with the last three years of UPA.

The timing of this performance appraisal has led to observers linking it to a possible ministerial reshuffle.

Now that the Modi-led government has spent three years in power, their focus for the remaining two years before the 2019 Lok Sabha polls would be on highlighting their success stories.

With Manohar Parrikar returning to Goa as the CM leaving defence ministry in the hands of finance minister Arun Jaitley and the sudden death of environment minister Anil Madhav Dave leading to Harsh Vardhan been made the incumbent minister, there’re also some vacancies in the cabinet.
