LIVE: Amazon reports Q1 earnings
Amazon is about to announce its Q1 financial results and we'll share them here as soon as we get them. Here's what the Street collectively expects:
- Revenue of $35.3 billion. This compares to $29.1 billion a year ago.
- EPS of $1.13 per share, non-GAAP. This compares with non-GAAP EPS of $1.07 per share a year ago.
Analysts are watching for the performance of its ecommerce division, Prime membership, and Amazon's cloud computing unit, Amazon Web Services.
Last quarter, AWS didn't grow quite as fast as people expected it would.
Some analysts are looking for $3.65 billion in revenue for AWS, which would be 42% growth. In the previous three quarters AWS had experienced 47%, 55% and 58% growth.
