Mallya has said that he plans to attend all future matches that India would play and cheer team India.

"Wide sensational media coverage on my attendance at the India vs Pakistan match at Edgbaston. I intend to attend all games to cheer the India team," Mallya tweeted today morning.

Mallya also tweeted praises for skipper Virat Kohli, who has also been the captain of his IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore.

"World class player World class Captain World class gentleman @imVkohli . Bravo Virat," he said on the microblogging platform.

This, however, isn't the first time that Mallya has taken a jibe at Indian media as well as government agencies that have failed to get him back from UK to put him under trial for defaulting loans worth Rs 9000 crores that he owes to several Indian banks via his now defunct Kingfisher Airlines.

He was even arrested by the British authorities in April but was released on bail within hours.
