LG has been innovating and producing some good products every now and then. But sadly those products either do not come to this side of the globe or they take lot of time to arrive here. However, since the past couple of launches LG India has become a little more aggressive and are launching new products in the market, weeks after the global launches.

As a first, today the company showcased the first curved LED mobile phone in India called G Flex that will start sales by the end of January 2014. The exact price of the phone is not out as yet, however LG’s spokespers Amit Gujral said it will be close to Rs 65,000 in the Indian market.

This phone has the latest goodies under the hood, ranging from a super quick Snapdragon 800 2.26 GHz Quad-core CPU to 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory. But what takes the cake is the vivid 6-inch 720p display, which many believe is just gimmicky. The knock to wake feature and rear volume keys from the LG G2 make an appearance on G Flex as well.

Having a phone in the shape of an arc is a nice idea, as it brings the microphone closer to your mouth. This is what LG G Flex emphasises on and the company claims that it sends better and clearer sound through the microphone to the receiver.
