Let's talk about the food in Kolkata- it really was one of the highlights for me in the city. I love exploring places through food and I took every opportunity I got to stick my fork into the city's rightly famous specialties. One of these is fish prepared in mustard sauce with some variations- this here is fresh local fish in cream of mustard served with rice, potatoes and vegetables. The mustard preparation is unique to Bengali cuisine and you wouldn't find it in other Indian restaurants around the world that most commonly serve North or South Indian dishes. This was even more delicious than it looks.
