Three Indians feature in the list of highest paid CEOs, with two in top 10

In what could be a matter of pride, and source of inspiration for many young Indians who want to make it big in the corporate world, three persons of Indian origin have been included in the list of 100 highest-paid CEOs globally.

PepsiCo's Indra Nooyi, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella amd LyondellBasell's Bhavesh Patel have made it to the top 100, list which was compiled by Equilar, out of which Nooyi and Patel have made it to the top ten.

With Patel ranking sixth on the list with a total compensation of $24.5 million, Nooyi has stood at the eighth rank, with a total pay of $22.2 million.

Satya Nadella, on the other hand, was ranked 26th on the list, with a total compensation of $18.3 million.

Talking of gender diversity, eight CEOs on the list are female, with Oracle’s Safra A Catz topping the list along with co-CEO Mark V Hurd, both making $53.2 million.
