It was on August 14th that World Bank officials met officials from the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), after completing field inspection and verification of claims over the 14 parameters on ease of doing business. Even though the World Bank team has wrapped up field investigations, DIPP is being proactive and is providing evidence to the team.

The results of these efforts would be out in October, when the results would be announced.

DIPP has targeted some specific areas, like starting business, insolvency procedures, construction permits, and ease of trade across borders and electricity connections.
