Video footage shows a blimp falling out of the sky near the US Open
A blimp appears to have fallen out of the sky and crashed near the US Open, according to video accounts on Twitter.
Details of what occurred are still scarce, but eye witnesses on Twitter say the blimp caught fire and crashed in the woods near the US Open. Some say that people parachuted out of the blimp. Emergency responders are reportedly on scene.
Media representatives at the US Open did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment.
