1. The FBI cleared Hillary Clinton in an email investigation yet again. FBI Director James Comey informed Congress that a review of new emails found in relation to the bureau's investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server had not yielded any reason for charges.
2. Google's investment arm quietly invested in Snapchat. Google Capital put an undisclosed amount into Evan Spiegel's company.
3. Snapchat invented a nifty way to charge its new smart glasses. The feature was shown in a patent filing.
4. Facebook's AI guru thinks DeepMind is too far away from the "mothership." Professor Yann LeCun said DeepMind's office in London is too far from Alphabet's HQ in California.
5. Tim Cook laid out the playbook for Apple's next big thing. He's been dropping hint after hint that Apple's next major technology initiative is augmented reality.
6. DeepMind will train artificial intelligence on the game "StarCraft II." DeepMind is an AI company that was acquired by Google whose mission is to understand intelligence.
7. Apple is slashing prices on USB-C accessories amid complaints about the new MacBook Pro. The price cut is temporary.
8. Elon Musk says Tesla will "probably" offer solar roofs on future cars. Musk didn't share a specific timeline of when to expect the feature.
9. Imgur, a $200 million(£161 million) startup, cut 15% of its staff months after Reddit built a competitor. Imgur says it is home to "the most awesome images on the internet."
10. Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer praised Apple during an interview with Bloomberg. He almost walked back his dismissive comments about the iPhone.
