Two people were injured and one suspect was arrested Thursday after a shooting at a Los Angeles school, police told media.
Los Angeles Police Department officer Drake Madison told the Associated Press that the shooting was reported shortly before 9 a.m. PST at a school west of downtown Los Angeles.
The reported location of the shooting was a middle school classroom at the campus shared by Belmont High School and Sal Castro Middle school, NBC Los Angeles reported.
The suspect arrested was female, the LA Unified School District told CBS Los Angeles. The district said there was one male and one female victim, though their conditions are unknown.
