The National Film Awards which is India’s most prominent awards ceremony celebrating the best in Indian cinema was announced today. This is the 66th National Film Awards.

The award ceremony was scheduled for April but the Information and Broadcasting Ministry had announced that the awards would be announced after the Lok Sabha Elections.

The awards will be given in 31 film categories while non-feature films will be announced in 23 categories.

Here’s the list of winners from the National Film Awards

Best Actor(male): Ayushmann Khurrana (Andhadhun) and Vicky Kaushal(Uri: The Surgical Strike)

Best Rajasthani Film: Turtle
