Music Week is reporting that Tidal's senior vice president of label and artist relations, Zena Burns, has quit working at the streaming service.
Burns' LinkedIn profile states she started working at Tidal in May 2015 until June this year. She is now a principal at Chicago-based media and entertainment consulting firm Moxie Coalition.
But it looks like Tidal has already hired someone to replace Burns. Timothy Patrick Riley was previously global head of music at video game publisher Activision/Blizzard, but has since updated his LinkedIn profile to show that he works at Tidal in Burns' old role.
Tidal has seen a long line of departures from the company following the acquisition of Aspiro, its payment company, by rapper Jay Z in March.
Jay Z set about rebranding and relaunching Tidal, unifying its streaming services into one, and bringing his world-famous friends on boards as investors. But despite exclusive content from stars like Rihanna, Beyoncé, Madonna and Jack White, Tidal has seen lots of executive talent leave the company.
Andy Chen, the CEO who oversaw the acquisition by Jay Z, left the company in April, just weeks after it was sold. And his replacement, Peter Tonstad, was also let go by Tidal in June. Most recently, Tidal's US sales and marketing manager David Solomon quit the company after 10 months.
On Friday, Tidal was forced to deny reports that Jay Z was considering pulling out of the service. Rumours had claimed that Jay Z wanted to cut his losses and quit, but the company poured cold water on the rumour with a tweet:
