​Amitabh Bachchan Purchases 1.1 Lakh Shares In Stampede Capital

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has bought 1.1 lakh shares of brokerage house Stampede Capital at a cost of Rs 1.21 crore.

According to the information available with the stock exchange, the actor has acquired 1.1 lakh shares of Stampede Capital through open market route on May 28.

The shares were purchased on an average price of Rs 109.92, valuing the transaction to Rs 1.21 crore.
Shares of Stampede Capital have shot up more than 30% within a month.

The megastar also holds stake in another listed company Just Dial. The Bollywood icon has nearly 0.09% stake, or 62,794 shares, in Just Dial.

Bachchan was allotted 62,794 shares at a price of Rs 10 each in 2011, valuing his original investment at just Rs 6.27 lakh, according to a disclosure by Just Dial in its IPO prospectus.
